ok so i am posting for a friend of mine. he got a corn at the last local reptile show. it was sold to him as an anery but to me the eyes dont look like it. i almost want to say it is sometype of hybrid maybe but could very well be wrong.what say you fine experts? any insight is welcome. ps i am sorry for the substandard pix. all i had with me at the time was a cell phone

I agree, that snake is mostly black or grey at least, if not full blooded. Usually greys are a little lighter than that as babies, but blacks usually have more pattern on their heads. That could be some sort of hybrid or cross but it is definitely rat.
 
I agree, that looks just like a rat snake we just rehabilitated. They are still great snakes though with great personalities!
