Mos turned my snake's belly green?

I bought some moss at the pet store that was supposed to be used in terrariums and such, and it ended up turning my noodle's belly green. (Never buying that cheap stuff again!) I threw out the moss once I noticed this of course. Its been about a month or so now, and I've tried bathing him a few times to no avail. My only option now is to wait until he sheds again to see if that helps.

Its so irritating to look at, because he is a blizzard corn, and seeing his white all messed up is sad haha.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? If so, tell me about it! Anything is appreciated. :)

Productive and kind comments only, please.

LOL the first green corn snake? :D Was it the bright green moss they have at PetSmart? It's all dyed that color, always wondered if it rubbed off on animals. Guess so! A shed or two should clear it up.

:laugh:Yes. I'm going to boycott petsmart all together now I think. Could've just been a bad bag though, that'd be my luck!

I was gonna say just paint the rest of your snake green to match and then all would be good, but then I saw where you wanted only good advice so I decided to not say that!

It will come off when he sheds. I've had that happen with the shredded colored paper- only in my case, the snake, an avalanche, shed in her shipping container, and then was damp, and turned pink from the shredded paper.
