Motley Okeetee project........

'Former' Snake slave
Anyone remember this guy?

We had an accident here last year and one of his hemipenes became infected with aspen slivers. He lost that whole side. I didn't know if he'd be able to reproduce at all any more. So far, so good! he's hooked up once and this female should make awesome babies!

This is a better pic of her:

Fantastic! The female finally decided to comply this year huh? Well you know who will take the extras off your hands don't ya? :D Since you do have too many snakes....you won't be able to keep the whole clutch right? nudge nudge

Yeah she gave it up pretty easily this year. I'm thinkin' the brumation is what did it for her.

I've got 4 females that should be putting out some Okeetee/Motley/Banded/Striped whatchamacallits! No way I'll be able to keep them all....

Maybe more like this one. It was a non feeder and it's finally taking anole scented F/T.

nice looking pair.
Too bad that he had an infection on one of his hemipenes...but heck...good thing that snakes have two...now that he can still use the other one~

Good luck with the pair and hope that they'll produce lots of great stuff for you this year!

Congratulations! I am glad he appears to be able to breed still. Good luck with producing more of those gorgeous babies!!!

Aah, there's that beautiful Okeetee....glad to hear he is doing fine and treating the ladies right :*)...keep us updated and looking forward to some sweet motley Oke pics, Clint
