Motley or normal pattern?

I'm sorry if I assumed wrong, but I felt like your post was hitting me pretty hard. Ok now that thats done, we're all friends again, eh? haha

I am sure she is an amel stripe. I received her as a two year old from a great, reputable breeder who saiud she was an amel stripe, and her pattern is too extreme a striping for even the most elongated motley-stripe pattern, although I do not have another stripe to test her against. Here's a pic for you to check out.

EDIT: (I just looked back and reread everything yet again, and think i finally understand what drizzt80 was actually trying to say, not what I interpreted it as. Feel a bit stupid right now...)

In my opinion, and I'm sure some will disagree, what you have is a not a motley, but it's showing markers for being het motley/stripe. In the one pic of the belly you can see faint checks which will come in as it ages. With the pattern on the sides and the belly I wouldn't feel comfortable calling it a motley. I breed mostly motleys and stripes and if it were one of mine coming from the parents you listed, I wouldn't call it motley. JMO :)
 
Well then, you've got two choices (which you already know): Motley/Stripe or het Stripe. I'm going to vote het Stripe. I haven't hatched out Motley/Stripes, but have hatched Stripes and Motleys. If Motley/Stripe is anything like Motley, then you have no side striping on yours.

ok great. Thanks everyone.

I just went through to record all the sheds today, and it looks like my amel stripe is het caramel. I'll post pictures at some point to make sure, but now that they are shedding, it looks like I have at least four golddusts in the clutch! I'm hoping for a butter as well but I havent re-checked the amels yet.
