mouth problem

I hate it when a keeper like you tries to do his/her best, and still has problems. I hope your snake recovers soon.

Mazie Died

Mazie died today. I suppose it was because I didn't start TX early enough or the stress of hydrating and feeding her with a syringe. She was very good about all of it, which means she was really sick and she got skinny so quickly. She was a great snake. I am sad. I hope I didn't do her in with the feeding. I gave her the food the vet recommended (Hills RX dog and cat), mixed with pedialyte, really slowly and checked that it wasn't coming back up. I hate to think she suffered. Whatever the vet mixed with the Baytril for the nebulizer made everything really sticky. Might have been lactose.

Thanks for everyone's help,
Jan
