Hi all,
Well, we finally took the 30 gallon tank out of its 7 year hiatis. We washed out all the cob webs, cleaned the tank with water/bleach solution and now we're in the process of rinsing out the tank. I'm a little nervous about having residual bleach in tank.
We are getting ready to move our Corn out of its 10 gallon tank and into the 30 gal tank.
We have never done this before, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.
A few questions:
1. Can we use the same heat pad that we are using on the 10 Gal? Do we need a bigger pad, or higher wattage?
2. What's the best way to acclimate snake to new tank? Should we move some of the existing aspen shavens and/or hides to new tank so snake has familiar scent?
3. Can 2/3 of tank be cool side and 1/3 be warm side? Or should it be 50/50?
Anything we should be aware of during transition?
Thanks much for feedback.
