Music and Snakes

So I am curious I often listen to music and as I am going to be in a studio apartment in San Diego my snake will get to listen along I was curious if anyone has noticed an effect of any sort on there snakes when they listen to music? Interest? Disinterest. I am just curious

well, since they dont have ears ;) but they do Feel vibrations... so it depends on how much bass you have in your music... I think too much can maybe be disturbing if its close to their tank. Thats about the best I can do to answer your question lol

Ok cool I just wasn't sure I know they are constantly debating about whether or not it might help plants grow and such.

I don't know if it's good or bad or how well they can hear it, but I have noticed that sometimes when I play guitar Zeebo will stick his head out and listen. I don't think he actually likes it though, probably just trying to see where the noise is coming from. :shrugs:

My large amel cornsnake went inside my sister's guitar while she was playing it...and I used to have a small Children's python who used to love to hide in my computer speakers...as they are very sensitive to vibrations, I wonder if certain frequencies are actually soothing for them?

I have had my corns show "interest" when I have music on also. They have come out of their hides, I think just like zeeboismysnake said, they are just looking to see what the vibrations are. I would just watch the volume level and not play the music too loudly.
