Musical snake?

It started when my boyfriend jiggled his keys in the office where we keep Dexter, we noticed that he perked up and looked out at him. He's taken to sitting on top of a tree decoration we put in there and he stretched out of there until his nose was touching the glass while Jon jingled his keys. So I got the bright idea to strum a few chords on my acoustic guitar for him. While I strummed Dexter came alive and slithered right up to the glass and even followed fingers that were dragged along the glass.

Is this common for corns? Should I play for him more often? We're trying to get this bugger socialized and this music thing is the first positive response we've gotten, usually Dex just treats us with apathy.

He's reacting to the vibrations. My animals all react like this if I run my fingers anywhere near their cages/bins. And many corns will track fingers, especially if hungry.

You should see what my snakes do when I play the piano near them. I used to have my piano in my snake room, and whenever I would start playing a particularly complex piece, every single snake in the room was out and about and roaming around. It was my own personal audience! Lol.
