My Ball Python: Spot

Green Bean

Reptile Chick
Hey all-

About a month and a half ago I went to the Cleveland Reptile Show and bought a baby ball named Spot. He's since had his first shed and meal with me. He's a real sweety.

He's cute! Are you sure your scale is accurate? That's like the size of Inez!

Nanci, my male BP hatchling weighed 61g when I got him less than a month ago. He has eaten three times with me and he now weighs 74g.

50g doesn't sound horrible for a BP hatchling. Small, but probably pretty typical for a reptile show snake. The hatchlings are incredibly lightweight. They feel kinda like marshmallows.

Spot is super cute. I love BP's. :)

Thanks, he does kinda feel like a marshmallow. He is cute isn't he? I can't wait for him to get bigger though.

That happens fairly quickly. My yearling is around 275grams already...
