I am so happy I started breeding mice again and have 4 females and 2 males and 3 females are very pregnant will have babies in a couple days or so, 1 mouse will only have 3-5 babies as she is the smallest of the females and the other 2 will have 6 or more babies!! I am so happy as my 2 corn snakes will have a good supply of food for awhile as I am gonna freeze a few pinkies for my geckos and bearded dragon and freeze hopefully lots of fuzzies and maybe eventully raise up 2 more females from my fancy mouse female when she has babies eventully and breed those. I can't wait as I won't have to buy snake food for a while!! Melissa
 
That's pretty cool. I might think about breeding mice on day so I don't have to always buy mice, but I have to move out first. My mom already hates my snakes so there is no way she would let me raise mice.
 
See My Mom Hates Snakes But Love Mice!! LOL and I am 20 years old and should be out of the house anyways!! I love my mice too and won't have a hard time with the albino mice babies but the fancy mice when they have babies I will have to freeze them as pinkies so i won't know there coloring!! LOL

Good news so far I have 13 pinkies and I had 15 but already fed 2 off and so I am happy my colony is doing good and they steal each others babies and nurse them, they really have the maternal instinct for being first time moms and I was concerned as one mom was eating her baby but I think it may have been dead already!! As I didn't have problems with her anymore. Melissa
 
Glad to hear things are going well... I think it was Wade who said Raising rodents is a neat side to having snakes...or something to that effect....
