My cali king...not sure what he is...

Hi Guys!!!

This is Chester, my new little cali king, he is just over a month old and has had three meals, two live pinks and on sunday I fed him his first f/t which he gobbled straight down!!! What a good boy!!!

I am a bit perplexed as to what he is... I know he is an aberrant Cali king...lol But someone said he was a "Desert phase" and someone else suggested that he might be a "banana"....what do these terms mean?

If this helps, he is more yellow in real life, like the colour of a banana milkshake...

Well whatever he is, I love him to bits!!!!! He is my firm favourite and I don't think I could ever BEAR to part with him!!!!

He is a cutie! He doesn't look like a bannana phase though, they need to be pretty yellow, here is an example: http://www.kingsnake.com/king/getula/calking1.jpg I'm not too good with Cali King phases, so I'm not sure what yours is. He is a cutie, and I'm glad he is eating and behaving!

I would agree that he is just a Aberrant Cali King. For banana he would have to be quite a bit more yellow.

50/50 aberrant Cal king. A very pretty one, too! 50/50 refers to the black vs. white content. He is not quite high white, but DEFINITELT more white than a typical desert phase. And he is aberrant. So he is a 50/50 aberrant Cal king...
