ok thanks for the reply! and im glad she looks good. i just was not sure about the yellow. Im hoping to get her paired with a reverse okeetee and see how that goes unless someone suggests otherwise.

Pairing her with a Reverse Okeetee (RO) is just going to give you amels (albinos). RO's are just a line-bred amel to have beautifully thick white borders. Breeding one with her would have no guarantee that there'd be RO babies. I'd say stick around and research a bit more before making your decision about a future breeding mate. Have you gotten Kathy Love's book yet?

Looks like a Snow to me also, with some very vibrant yellow highlights. Beautiful snake thanks for the pic :D I love Kathy's book gave me a general idea about genetics. I'm getting the Corn snake morph guide asap.

no i havent seen the book yet. Im still new. not sure where to buy a incubator or anything of that sort. gonna stay around and do tons of research so i dont screw up haha. Im not looking to get any certain type of babies out of it. I just love the colors of the RO's. also like the candy canes.

you neednt by an incubator- thats why there arent that many on the market since its easier to make your own out of an old polystyrene box from a pet/aquatics shop or which you might have anyway from ordering stuff online, and a heat mat and thermostat.

a snow is homozygous amel and anery and your snake is probably het for caramel too which it got from the butter parent. so i would pick either an anery based morph or a caramel based morph to mate her with. maybe another butter?

you say you arent looking to create anything special but it would be nice. even to get amels from paring with the RO. Because corns have quite a lot of eggs and you dont want to make it hard to sell them.

yeah i probably have 4 or 5 of those boxes in my garage. and i have a heat pad just sitting around. ment to be used for a 20 gallon tank? is there a thread on here to explain how to make one from that?
