Yes, I had to beat them in with a hammer they are so tight. Then I added some sealant to be absolutely sure.
 
All done - until I decide to move everything around again.

She is scheduled to be here tomorrow, but I'm not sure they will ship her with it being this cold here :(
 
Thank you. I'll post more pics when she gets here this Tuesday. I installed one of them LED strips too and it livens it up quite a bit.
 
They look like pretty standard adjustable circular air vents. You can get them from amazon and ebay, and probably most hardware stores.
 
Very nice! Your snake will love it. And if you have any more, add some more vines on the floor. They love the feeling of security they bring. Post pics when you can!
