Hi all,
Just wanted to post some picture of my first clutch. The excitement and joy of seeing these babies was awesome! This was a pairing of 2 normal Qtip (motley/stripe) het snow parents. Out of 24 eggs, 17 have emerged, 3 DIE
, and 4 are still in the eggs. I feel terrible about the DIE ones--they looked perfect. Next time, I'll cut the shells to help them out. They had slit the shells but didn't pip. This is all new to me, and I kept reading that I should let nature take her course. Also, I didn't want to cut, because I didn't want to hurt them. Anyway, hindsight and inexperience are not good, and next time I'll try to do better. Momma snake laid 3 possibly good eggs just as these were pipping--almost like she knew--haha.
Anyhow, I seem to have some normals, anerys, and amels (don't think any of the pink ones are snows--if you do, let me know please!) with various pretty patterns. Starting to move them into individual shoeboxes.
Enjoy! I may need some help sorting out the morphs next week after they shed--any help will be much appreciated!
