My first snake

Hey all!

I've wanted a pet snake since I was a little kid... and as of 10 days ago I'm the proud owner of Anakin, a 10-months-old hypo male.

My husband and I browsed the reptile expo and this little guy caught our heart in a few seconds.. He was out and handled by the vendors, and he had the most sweet disposition amongst the noise and bustle of the expo.. not to mention the cute heart-shape on his forehead. We were hooked.
He received the name Anakin as he's got a big heart, no arms and legs, and colored a bit like lava.:angry01:

After being left alone for a week, and then a few more days to digest his first fuzzy (which he ate with fervor) he got his first pictures taken...

welcometo the addiction!

what handsome boy you have their! I absolutely love his name!!
very unique! ;)

Thanks guys!
Anakin had his second fuzzy (quickly snatched from the forceps and dragged into his hide for a more intimate dinner) and I think he's in blue! his colors are a bit dull and I think I caught a bluish tint in his eyes, but it was a rather subtle tint...
Anyway, I'm very excited to be here and appreciate the warm welcome :)
