hiya i have a habistat dimmer thermostat and basically it sucks!!!! i set it at around 87F cuz my baby's in a tub inside his viv. I check it everyday and every so often the temp goes up to around 93F!!! The sensor is placed on the bottom of the viv next to his tub? any tips on where to place it so it reads the right temp?? anybody had these problems with their thermostat?? i think im doing something wrong! i dont wanna boil him to death!:(

even if it IS my fault...........it still sucks.....;)

You'll probably find that you'll have to tweek the temp. set point to obtain the correct temp in the viv. Also a factor is the temperature surrounding the control box, the internal components tolerate with temperature. I find the best place to put the sensor is in a place that is inbetween the hot and cold spot on the floor of the viv.
