will my corn be okay without a heater for a day or two? please let me know, i'm really worried.
i'm new to the whole snake thing so please if anyone can help me... i need to learn.

Depends on where you are located and how cold it will be during the time your snake will be without heat. Also, when was the last time you fed your snake? If it was recently, I'd be worried about regurge.

Id say if you have central heating then leave it on in the room that the viv is in. Also put in some extra bedding like shredded kitchen roll or some newspaper for now until your heater is fiexed. If youre really worried a lot of pet shops that sell snakes will offer to look after youre snake for a couple of days. Id use this as a last resort as changing surroundings may stress your snake more that being without the heat for a few days. Good luck

Until your heat is restored- you can also try the chemical heat packs they use for shipping reptiles- they can also be found at the drug store (arthritis/ pain section) this is a short term solution, and you have to make sure the snake can not get burned (I don't think they get too hot) but it might help you make it for a day or so if you live in the cold- but even in central Florida we are supposed to have a freeze tonight!- good luck!

A heating pad, if you still have electricity, will also work nicely. Set it on low and place it under the tank. You may even have to add a towel layer (folded in half) between the heating pad and the tank. I've used one many times as a temporary heat source...works great.

Covering the top of the tank/encloser will keep heat in, just make sure plenty of Oxygen can get in the tank.

As a temp solution you can put the cage on top of another habitat that has heat lamps if it isn't a big heavy glass tank, it should get some heat from the lamps below. If it's a big glass tank, not a lightweight plastic container, you'll have to go with the above suggestions.
