DES MOINES, Iowa - Two children who were on an Easter egg hunt at a city park Saturday have discovered a body, Des Moines police said.

About 100 children were participating in the hunt at Beaverdale Park Saturday morning. Two children came across the man's body in a wooded area, police said.

Police say they don't suspect any foul play, and autopsy is planned.

I would been all over that action if we had been looking for bodies instead of eggs.
 
Sounds about the norm for the North West region.

I like how we are known for our serial killers, mass murderers and random acts of killing not to mention our meth labs.

At least Florida is known for rapists and not us!
 
This was in the midwest, but yeah, we have more than our fair share of serial killers. Hmmm....must be the rain.
 
Funny thing is all of that still applies. M'town, IA was deemed "Meth Capital of the US" at one point and still has (to my knowledge) the most drugs per capita of any city in the US. God bless the boring ass Midwest! :p

Glad I grew up in such an amazing state :cool:
