Hi everyone,

I took the opportunity while cleaning their tubs to get some pics of my two Motley Corns. The Ghost Motley didn't seem to be ready for her close up. :)

They don't have an extremely defined motley pattern..I'd be interested in seeing their bellies as well.

I'll have to try to get pictures of their bellies. The Ghost looks like she is getting ready to shed, so I may wait until she does to get more pics. What can you tell by looking at their bellies?

They are nice looking though! If they have checkers on their ventrals, then they aren't motley. Motleys have a plain white belly.

Well, here are some of my attempts to get pics of the belly of my Black "Motley." Both the Ghost and Black came from a reputable local breeder who says that their parents were Motley. If they aren't Motley, is it possible they are het Motley?

Although motleys usually develop coloration and dots on their belly as they age, they don't have checkers. It looks like yours has checks. Seeing both the un-defined dorsal and the underside of those corns I would say not motley. However if both their parents were motley their offspring will all be motley. Maybe one of their parents was just a het idk.
