My Name Is Earl......

jazzgeek

The Rule Of Thirds.
...nope, not the Jason Lee sitcom. Sorry.

This is my new '05 male Opal from Frank Pinello, whom I've dubbed Earl "The Pearl" Monroe. For those of you who think Larry Bird is "old school" NBA, fuggetabowdit. Earl was a backcourt teammate of Walt "Clyde" Frazier from when the Knicks were a good team.....which yes, seems like 30 years ago.

Anyhoo, this is my first opal.....and I'm quite pleased. Enjoy!

regards,
jazz

The second pic down really shows off why they're called opals. I may have to re-assess my feelings they are just 'fancy' snows! :)

Beautiful acquisition, Dale. The coloration coupled with the gorgeous iridescence really does look like opal.
