He did this the other night, but tonight I had to take some pics and share. I think hes telling me he wants his new viv NOW lol.

oh too funny lol. Mine climbs up the side screen of his enclosure and hangs there the goofy guy. He is so funny!!

Woot! A video! Just a tip, Bearded Dragon breeders/experts recommend regular house hold bulbs for basking spot. I thought I should be nice throw that tip out. ;D

Where do you get your info by the way?

Water dragons require uvb lighting you also need to dust their crickets with calcium not the calcium d3 they also need humidity at about 80. Mine started in a 40 gallon breeder he is now in a 4 foot by 3 foot by 3 foot enclosure with two uvb bulbs and two heat emitters.

The place I got most of my info from was http://repticzone.com/forums/WaterDragons/index.html one of them and http://www.triciaswaterdragon.com/dragoncr.htm , http://exoticpets.about.com/od/lizardsaspets/p/waterdragons.htm , http://www.triciaswaterdragon.com/enclosur.htm and http://www.reptileuv.com/reptile-caresheets/water-dragon-page2.php .

I hadnt heard about using a regular heat lamp for a basking light. One thing though about what you said, bearded dragon breeders need a higher amount of heat so maybe thats why they use regular house hold lights? Also what wattage bulb do you know?

Also booboo18, I think she was referring to the basking light, for heat so it would not be emitting any UVB light either way :D

O And I have been feeding him Meal worms sprayed with Jurrass-Cal Liquid Calcium supplement for Reptiles and Amphibians, its made by Jurassipets.

I was feeding him crickets but he was getting a lot of substrate in his mouth when eating, with the meal worms in his bowl he chows down and gets no substrate in his mouth, plus I heard that the meal worms had more nutritional valu then crickets any way. Or so I have been told.

Those sites are great we went through Tricias before we brought Charlie home and am on reticzone all the time!!! Great information.
