My new Leucy!!!

Awesome Fred! It was my first show too, what an incredible place!! Im glad to hear you found success, I know I did too.
Gorgeous Leucy!
I saw Cosmos!!! You were successful! Congrats to you too! Thanks for seeing my Leucy.
Gorgeous find!!
Thanks!
That's the name I was going to suggest!
Great find though, what a pretty little girl!
Well, I think I've settled it. Her name is Lunemaria. I may be older, but I'm still an anime fan. LOL. I wanted to name her Luna or Sapphire, but my kids thought that Luna was "Looney" and that Sapphire was just "ehhh". So I named her Lunemaria from a character in Gundam Seed and the kids liked it. LOL.

Well, Lunemaria it ISN'T. LOL. My kids liked the name, but said it was too long... So they did settle on Luna.

Got to feed her today. She ate two fuzzies. Downed them with no problem. Just like a good rat snake should! LOL.

awesome! another one! lol, they are so beautiful. hope she doesnt get cage aggressive as mine did. lol, at the show he was awesome. anyway dont want to scare you. lol. its been a little over a month and ive got him calmed back down. dont worry.

anyway Luna is gorgeous. CongratS

Glad to see you got her Fred! I know you were teetering with the idea for a bit. She's a doll! I'd name her Winter :)

Nah... Even if she wasn't "puppy dog tame" I wouldn't be scared of her. She's all of 14" long!!! LOL. She does a half-hearted S curve then when you reach in, she just sits there. She's just as friendly as can be!

I deal with an "attitudish" Vietnamese Blue Beauty named Kokoro (who is almost 5" long) so I'm not too worried about Luna. Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks, Jynx! I wanted to name her "Winter" but that name has bad connotations in the family... (ie. someone named Winter wasn't very nice to us), so that is a no go. LOL. Be sure to post more pics of your Black Milk (I'm STILL kicking myself for not getting one) and I'll be sure to post more of Luna.

New pics of Luna - my LTR

Just thought that I'd use this as my "progression" thread for Luna... Hope you all enjoy!

If ya haven't thought up a name yet..I would say Whisp or Buenita..

Very beautiful snake! :0) Congrats on the new addition :0)

Thanks! She is a little feisty now, though. She tagged me (not even a scratch, but I could feel her teeth) yesterday when I transferred her to her feeding container. Got all coiled up and hissy too! :sidestep:

Ha ha.. Yeah Fred, they do that. They get all comfortable in there enclosure and don't want to be messed with. Mine did the exact same thing too! Don't worry, it only took me about 3 to 4 weeks to get him to stop striking totally. Now he just runs away when I try to get him out. I worked with Alaska about 2 days a week and he got better every time. Good luck!

LOL. I'm not worried. I ALWAYS tell my wife... "If I ever come to a point where I'm afraid of one of my snakes, that will be the point I get rid of that snake."
