My new Red-Tail!

MinLynn

What blonde chick?!
Well, he isn't mine yet! I don't get to pick him up until tomorrow evening. He's a 4 year old male,5-6ft long. He comes with his 75g enclosure and accessories, all for $100! His owner is moving and won't have the space for him anymore. He's tame and likes to be handled so that's a plus, too!

Some of you know, I was supposed to get a beardie this Friday instead. Yeah, well the lady called me about 10PM last night and said she changed her mind and she's keeping him. I'm still pretty sad about that! :cry:I really, really wanted that beardie! I'll still get one but I couldn't pass this guy up while he was still available!

Here's a crappy cell phone pic of him. I'll get better pics of him tomorrow before we put him away.

Thank you! I'm so excited! Now hopefully this guy doesn't call me tomorrow and back out as well! Wouldn't that just be a shot to the heart?!

Here he is in his new home! I'm going to be making changes to his viv,but not until he settles in more. He's as docile as can be and really pretty! Has the prettiest pink cheeks! His name is Hades!

Was able to take Hades out for a bit today! Also gave us a great opportunity to get his viv re-done. We took him off the repti-bark and switched him Cypress Mulch, instead.

Yeah, he's definetly always "in your face!". Literally! His favorite thing to do is perch his head on top of Matt's head and just sit, staring down evil-doers,with his nifty goatee from up there!

He's way cute cograts Min the beardie thing sucks, but he is a real looker and seems to feel right at home with you guys:)

Thank you! We're quite fond of him! Only problem we've noticed is he is NOT fond of the kids whatsoever! If we have him out when one of the kids are in the room,he turns dark and starts whipping around. No more kids around the boa! Our daughter is pretty upset over it because she's the one who is really, really into all these reptiles. It's the first snake she won't be allowed to handle or even be in the room when he's out. Matt and I can handle him all we want and he loves to hang out with Matt. Just something about the kids he doesn't like, I guess.

Got some new pics of Hades! So excited! He had his first shed with us and wow what a beauty he is!
