My new Snail Eater

Aw, what a fitting name. She's adorable. Good job for starting her off right! I hope she thrives for you.
 
If the shell part of the snail is not spit out, then the snake gets the extra culcium, right?? I dunno much about these ones... but sure looks pretty.. :)

They do not eat the shell. They leave it behind. The snails themselves are high in calcium. That's where they get all they need.
