Sorry Im a bit crazy about my goats lol

Very Nice!!
I have a goat too.. I love him.. We walk him
with the dogs .. The neighbors like him too..

I used to have a lamancha (dont know how to spell it the earless goats lol) His name was Mygo cause my 3 year old sisters couldnt say my goat:laugh:. he was the best pet ever

Oh my gosh, I LOVE goats. I so would love to have one some day. The alpines are my fav. Yours are so dang CUTE! Thanks so much for sharing them with us.

One of my employees and I joke we are going to open a goat farm. We're both animal crazy and talk about how much we want a goat all the time. My other employees think we're crazy, lol.

I'm also a fan of the goats! Do you milk them too? I would be making my own fresh goat cheese, yum...:licklips:

We used to raise dairy goats amoung other things. When we had the county fair and people would ask why those goats ahd no ears the kids would say they're called 'munchies' we cut the ear off at birth and eat them.
Actually we had Nubians and Toggenburgs, but I loved the horro on peoples faces when the kids wold tell the ear story.

They are all gorgeous! Love the kids. I have a pair of does, just mix breeds. They sure are fun critters, but can be total butts too. How many do you have?

Their all beautiful goats! congrats on the new kids :0)

I would name the two girls Coco (the one that has a lot of brown) and Pebbles (the one with the blotchy brown and white..)

Wonderful! I love the colours and patterns oats come in. Looks like they could be as addictive as corns!

i absolutely adore goats; i've always wanted one or two ... never was able to get my hands on one no matter how much i begged. :/ parents.

CassieK- You got it right. Just needed a space. La Mancha’s are the earless or rather almost earless goats. They are a very neat breed of goat I think. We breed La manchas and Nubians. Just recently got a baby La Mancha painted stud.

Tom e- Not yet but we have plans to at some point. Even more so with milk prices the way they are.

dogsNdragons- your friends babies are very cute. Thanks for sharing.

susang- That is really funny. I think Ill start telling people that too.

Dachirsuhaco- we currently have about 30 goats. Im afraid to do a real count. We do a bit of rescue as well so a few come and go. :)

Maize- Thats funny. My husband loves that cereal too!!

Piper- Yes they do need their feet trimmed. Its a lot different then horses but still needs to be done. When we first got Amanda she came in as a rescue from an auction. She was $10 and no one would take her. She was very thin, had a skin condition, and her feet were so long they curled up like elf feet. As you can see shes all better about a year later :)

diamondlil- They are!! Thats why I have 30 and cant stop!!

Thank you everyone for your replies and compliments. :) Im so proud of my group. Ill post more babies as they are born.
