i think she doesnt know she is a snake! first she guards my room when some one else comes in NOW when she eats she takes a stroll throughout she cage as if she is "walking it off" just like humans do! she is soo funny! :shrugs:

actually it's not uncommon for a snake to do a lap or two around the viv after a feeding just to see if there are any more "meals" kickin' around since they are already in eating mode.

Yep, and once they are out of "eating mode", they usually go back to "escape mode", which seems to be their predominant mode when not eating, sleeping/digesting, or breeding.

So, it's a good thing they're pretty 'cause they're basically rather boring ...

(but I'm still nuts over mine! :) )

I think Sarah means that her snake takes a stroll whit th eprey to eat it somewhere else.... that is funny indeed. Sometimes I tease my gopher a little when he is eating, pulling on the prey...... but only when he took it to a place where bedding could stick to the prey....I drag it bag to the roof of his hide.
