My snake shed for the first time today. I was worried there for a bit because she went blue for a day or two, and then went back to her normal self for about 4 days with no sign of fading (Her not fading seemed weird). Then today I lifted up her hide to check out how the she was doing, and there her shed was! She managed to shed into 3 completely intact pieces inside her hide. I don't know if that is strange, but it aroused my curiosity quite a bit. From a few earlier posts people explained how the color of my snake would change, but I was shocked at how she turned from a dark brown to a lightish brown/orange so much in just one shed! Quick question, what is the usual time frame in-between sheds? Here she is now.
lol Congrats on your first shed! (always exciting)
and I love how you put it on a pencil, aha! it looks like a dried out snake or something .. lol
and yeah their colours changing is the most exciting thing about a corn!
by time there a year old you've had like 3-4 different coloured snakes..
makes shedding even more fun if you ask me!
