My Surprise Hypolav yearlings

These guys came out of a pair of hypomelanistics that came from two different sources but were both Serpenco stock. I got the mom as a hatchling from Rich himself and the male came from Serpwidgets as an adult. Talk about a lottery win. I'm very happy with them and hope to get an unrelated pair so that I have someone to breed them to. The male is the lighter one.

Why does everyone like the male more? I personally find the female to be prettier myself. But I like the contrast.
