Hopelessly Addicted
I just got these two girls from Terri this week. Neat, odd colored snow poss. het stripe & poss. het or homo hypo; and very pretty patterned normal het caramel & amel.

The snow is named Lily and the normal is Lacy.

Thanks Terri, they are beautiful. :) :)

Nice pick-ups. That's a normal? She looks so much like a homo caramel. I really like her. Really makes you wonder about the nature of the caramel gene.

Thanks Dean & bribrian.

Yes Dean, Terri and I both have wondered if it is indeed homo caramel but she is just different enough to make one wonder. Terri said that she neither looked like her caramel siblings nor her normal siblings. Well, I guess time will tell, hey? lol.

Here is a closer shot (sorry it is not very clear but I didn't want to take too many pics before settling them...better pics later on), you can see that the color of her eyes resemble a caramel more than a normal...so shrug????

Also, here is another closer picture of the snow.... don't know why it didn't show up on the first pictures because I put it on....shrug.

Finally

I am glad you like the new little ones!

I look forward to seeing if the little normal mot is actually a caramel mot!

I can't wait to see update pics as they get older!

I know what you mean. Our '05 0.1 Ultramel Motley Het. Caramel shows alot of the traits of the caramel gene. She kinda looks like a baby Amber.

That's exactly what I was thinking...an amber. You MUST keep us updated on that one!

So you are thinking the one I sold as a normal mot is an amber mot? LOL...if she is, then Dianne got REALLY lucky! ;) Neither parent was supposed to be het hypo or even possible het hypo, so it would be quite odd for there to be a hypo in the bunch. The parents were a butter het motley x normal motley het amel, caramel. I got 2 caramel mots, 1 amel mot, a butter mot, and this little "normal" mot (and also some non-mots of the same morphs).

I've never seen a normalt like that. At first I had thought that you might have linked the wrong picture and accidentally posted a pic of a caramel instead of your "normal." Regardless, she's a beauty!

Wow it is amazing how crazy they both look. That normal is definitly very much homo caramel in appearance, and that snow is very much amazingly different than the majority of snows i've seen. great pickups for sure :)
