Congratulations! It's a wonderful feeling when you peek in and see the very first pippie, you finally realise the waiting has been worthwhile!
Well done and good luck with the hatchlings!

well sad news :( one died in the egg, I opened it up to see what had gone wrong, and I think that a picture says more than I can

But some good news too :)

my first has come out of the egg :) and what do you think? is he a common like his dad or a anery like his mom?

Congratulations. Im pretty sure the one that was dead was a common and the other was an anery. Keep us updated.

David

All of the babies will be common (normal) heterozygous for Anery if the parents are Common x Anery if the Common is not het. for anery. Hope that wasnt to confusing

lol how should that be confusing ;) I know that the common is a dominant gene ;) just wanted to know if there was a chance that I'd get anery babys :)

There always a chance. My clutch was expected to be 100% normal het amel poss. het. hypo and it ended up with
4 normal
7 hypo
2 anery
3 ghosts

so there's always a chance. The baby pictured is a normal. :)

Sad to hear about the dead baby.... both baby's are normals, but I also think they have emoryi blood, because of the somewhat different saddles and colors and these baby's are pretty sturdy build. Do you have a pic of the parents?

Candled the last egg this morning and saw the baby move inside, but tonight when I checked on him he wasn't moving, so I desided to put a tiny hole in his shell, just to help him a little bit, but with the transparent fluid there came a little bit of brown, should I be worried? :shrugs:

But last night there came 2, one with normal pattern and completly perfect :D and one.... well his pattern is... wack... guess something got screwed up :p lol
