Ok so I bought a gravid snow corn on 3-16-09. I bought her BECAUSE she was gravid...and waited. A month went by with no eggs. She shed. She shed again. Finally exactly 2 months later on 5-16 she laid 12 fertile eggs and 4 slugs.

A couple times in the 2 months prior to her laying I introduced her to my sunglow stripe male. I never witnesed any breeding or even interest.

The eggs are dimpling now...I'll post pics as soon as I have pips! They are due Monday 7-20!!
 
So one of the eggs looked like it was going bad...so I cut it open. It looks like an amel motley....I'm not sure. I can't tell if it's alive or not...I didn't want to mess with it too much.....time will tell!!
 
yeah. i learned my lesson on that one. i cut a couple eggs from my last clutch on day 57 or 58 i think. they looked bad so i wanted to check them. one was dead in egg and the other was alive. but when night fell he decided to leave the egg and it was too early. he was dead by morning :(
