Names.

d-Danny win-part of last name and 127, January 27th. Let's just say 1/27 many, many, many, many, (add infinidum) moons ago I was given a 2nd chance at this thing called Life.:dancer:

Heh, no, it was a joke. I am pretty sure my Hurley lines don't link back to England or thereabouts. I only wish I had a piece of the Hurley clothing line. ;)

I guess I'll have to go on in non-greatness, just being a Hurley. :D

PtDnsr = pointe dancer from way back when I used to dance. Haven't since I was a sophomore in high school but I've used it so long it seemed senseless to change it. Not to mention I use it for everything (AIM, here, other forums, eBay...just about everything).

Cleppa

It's from the movie 'Pootie Tang' which is highly under rated, but that's what his license plate said. :crazy02:

Dang it...I got all excited about the Hurley thing...thanks for all the replies people! I'm learning a lot! Keep it going, there are still a few odd ones I'm wondering about!

Mbdorfer is just a shortcut for Mike Blickendorfer :wavey:

Wow, your the only other Blickendorfer I've ever met. Think we're related? lol. I think my user name is self explanatory :D. I love all things Harry Potter. I also felt like a muggle when I first started here. Oh well . . .:) happy V-day!

My name started out as a joke. I was making a social commentary joke when I was 15. I went on and on about how left handed people were inferior to right handed people (remember, it was just a joke. No flames please.) Well, everyone thought that my rant sounded very fascist, so they started calling me Lefty Mussolini. The name kinda stuck, and became the name that I used in my band because I didn't want people trying to pronounce my real last name and messing it up (yay-lee by the way.) It's still wierd though, being at shows and having people call me Lefty.

Your Grandfather and Great Grandfather's names wouldn't happen to be Edward would they? :wavey:

my real name i Louis and that is often considerd to be a boys name.. so I juse ny nickname Loise on the net so poeple dont misstake me for a man.. that have happend tooooo MANY times, in real life aswell, I´m getting sick :puke01: of it(people)!

I do love my name tho!

Jynx - pronounced just how it looks. My first corn snake was a female Bloodred. I named her Jynx after the red female ninja on GI Joe. She lived to the ripe old age of 13. My nickname is kind of a tribute to her. :)

Actually, Pootie's license plate reads: CLEEPA. Gotta get that right before you spring for those vanity plates. :grin01: Sa-da-tay!

Roy Munson is Woody Harrelson's character in the movie "Kingpin." :)

Being that my user name is Giantblueberry I suppose it could easily be taken that I'm a big Willy Wonka fan.
Although I do enjoy the 1971 film and watched it throughout my childhood, my screen name actually has nothing to do with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and obsessive gum chewing.

Actually the name came about from an inside joke which... I suppose for the sake of the thread I can explain.
It's pretty simple..
Imagine this guy,
<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b78/justanotherhominid/Things%20for%20people/Tristan.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a></img>
sleeping wrapped in a bright blue blanket. This "sighting" happened on a camping trip, so imagine him all curled up.
"Giant Blueberry" was really the only way to describe it. For some reason imagining my friend Tristan as a giant blueberry was just the funniest thing ever.. I've probably lost weight laughing over it.. seems a bit cruel thinking of it now, but there was once a time when I actaully rolled down a hill giggling because I couldn't control my laughing..

I think I took the name for myself because a lot of the time I feel like the underdog myself :shrugs:
or possibly because the joke still brings a smile to my face

Oh,
and Trever,
I've always thought that if any minority were to take over the world it would be the lefties.. >=)
Maybe I should change my name to <i>Southpaw Activists</i>

Mine's just a combination of my passion and my vocation. I'm a huge fan of jazz music, primarily tenor saxophone. And with the exception of being a manager at a pet store for 1 1/2 years, I've been keeping myself fat and sassy as a computer geek since 1990.

Better than a number of screen names that I've used down the road, such as:

BobTheWonderPoodle
BusterKeaton
CousinDupree
SkippyOfNazareth...

and my personal fav, "GhostOfSammyDavisJr", which I used to see what a "WhitePower" chat room was like. Once they understood the joke, I lasted about 45 seconds. :grin01:

regards,
jazz
