I recently got back from a vacation in the NC Highlands. We had a good time. We were very very disappointed. We went to take pictures of the mountains and were unable to. After the first day, every single day was raining. You couldn't get pictures of the mountains because if the permanent fog you entered to get up them. We did the waterfall as a, "when life gives you lemons" kind of thing but have done them extensively before. Too bad too because the leafs were just perfect.

Thanks for sharing. Makes me feel a little "home"sick. Perhaps nostalgic would be a better word. I'd love to live in NC again.
