Because it is different than my name, and I am making it up in order to do business. The business license is called a "Fictictious Name License", because it is a registered "entity" that doesn't really exist, at the moment. I will be operating out of my own house, using my own vehicles and properties, but under an assumed, or "fictictious name"...a name which isn't my own...
