i feel like i'm neglecting my snake.. but i dont think i am

i didnt expect snakes to be SO easy to keep !!

just cahnge water everyday... and... ye..

he hardly ever poops, if he does its on a towel on my lap, lol

still waiting for his 1st shed

temps look ok aswell...

snake just sleeps in his vines all day :p
feeding time tomorow, then he can sleep even more !

I felt same way when I first got snakes, then I got some leo's That way when I go to feed the leo's every night I spend time checking out the snakes.

Just easy...

Don't worry that same feeling of neglect you're experiencing right now will be the same feeling that talks you into buying another and another and...

Before you know it, all that time that you used to sit around feeling neglectful will be taken up by all the feeding, cleaning and handling of several new friends. :)

Hah! How right you are. Two snakes are as easy to care for as one, and three are almost as easy as two. But at some point you realize that forty are NOT as easy to care for as one. :grin01:

He he he...
Ya'll are so right. I still feel a little neglectful, and worrisome at the same time... but that is ebbing away. I have 11 snakes now! I keep saying, "Okay, thats it. Don't need anymore," but I know there is an expo coming up, and I've been itching for a bloodred... urggh.

lol, o nooo, so i'm doomed to have a snake army! :grin01:
i told myself i'de wait at least till my 1st snake outgrows his current tank :p
then i want a red tailed boa :dgrin:

I just sold all my '05's except the keepers as well as some adult breeders, so I have 'only' 10 snakes right now. It's a comfortable number for me, I can give them individual attention and handle them all, and it's few enough that it doesn't feel like a chore to do all the feeding, water bowls, and cleaning. I feel from having over 40 hatchlings last year that there was a point where I just had too many to spend 'quality time' with them. They were well cared for but not exactly 'socialized' lol.
This year should be easy with just one breedable size female expected to lay a clutch. But I don't know, it was fun to have a whole bunch of them too - just impossible to really get all of them tame!
