my brother and his girl friend picked up a little savannah monitor today - apparently she's had two in the past and well ... a lizard is always better than a dog in my opinion.

How cute! I was a docent at a zoo when I was a teenager and had one of those, an adult, that I took on TV shows. He was really nice.
 
:) Already he's incredibly sweet, my brother didn't seem too interested - but everyonce in awhile he goes back to check on him. While his girlfriend keeps wanting to take him out but he needs a week or so to settle in before any handling sessions. :) I've seen pictures of her two, they were 10 and 9 when she had to give them away because of a move. Really cute - she also had iguanas, just like my brother did back at his apartment.
