New and Saying Hi

Hi everyone,
I am a 41 (soon to be 42) year old mother of 2 kids (my son is 7 and my daughter is 4).

After having gone to a Reptiles at Risk show at our local library, my children have fallen in love with corn snakes and want to get one. The pic in my profile is my daughter holding one of the snakes.

I am doing my research on corn snakes and how to care for them properly before we actually get one and have found these forums to be extremely helpful. My husband and I will be the primary caregivers of course (he is also very excited). My daughter is young but she is extremely gentle with all animals for her age - she just loves them (as does my son). I never thought I would ever want a snake but after reading about them & looking at pictures, I find them extremely fascinating.

Anyway I just wanted to jump in and say hi and I look forward to the day when I post a picture of our new family member.

There's something about corn snakes that wins a lot of non-snake people over. Welcome to the forum!:)

Hello and Welcome!

You came to the perfect place to learn more about corns. The members on here are all really good about answering questions and giving advice. Corns come in a variety of colors, so be sure to look/shop around before getting yours :).

Be sure to post pictures, once you get one!

See you around the forum!
