New Big Viv- Don't know what to do with it!

Officially Corn Obsessed
Hey!

So I just got this huge viv this evening at a bargain for €40 off a family friend. By rough measuring, I think its about 3.5ft x 2ft x 2ft. I'm not sure what wood it is but it was supposedly custom made for housing snakes so... I presume its not pine or cedar! The inside doesn't have any coating or anything, its just the exposed wood and it has some stains where I presume it wasn't cleaned (the bottom is plywood). Do you think I should cover the inside with something to make it easier to clean?
Also, do you think this is too big for a corn reaching adulthood? Do you think it would be possible to section this thing up and if so how would I do it?
I was originally thinking of this for Onyx but I think its way too big now... He's in the smaller tank on top of the big one (my ball is in the other tub, I put her in the big one for size and she even looked tiny!). So any ideas on what I should do with this monster of a tank are greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

You could put one adult corn in it, but probably best if it is b. All you have to do is make sure there are plenty of hides/decorations. You'll just be spoiling your snake ;) Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah just put lots of hides and cover and you can put a younger corn in it...good luck with that game and hide and see though lol. Also I would coat the inside just for protecting the wood. If the water dish gets spilled once he's older or just from evaporation the wood will expand and break apart over time. Triple coat the inside with polyeurothane and it'll be set for life.

I know pine is bad, but if it were sealed with polyurathane in many coats would that help hold in the toxic oils? It would be a shame to waste a nice viv like that!

Oh no please don't say that!! Pine is evil! ^^ what smigon said, will the sealer work? I'd really hate to waste it. If it is pine and the sealer doesn't make it ok, could I cover the inside with plastic or something do ya think?
