He looks like an amel?? Is he orange/red and yellow/orange, with red eyes? And does his belly have pale orange checkers, or is it plain white? If plain white, he's motley too. Actually, I would bet he is a motley, based on his side pattern.
 
I believe a bloodred motley would be a lot darker at this age.

Maybe I should read better. But I'm sticking with motley, not diffused, side pattern. It's the horizontal lines, not a blurring or erasing of side blotches.

Nothing about what pattern we can see suggests this snake is a fire (diffused amel). When you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras. It's far more likely to be 'just' an amel motley.
