New Corn Snake Owner-Help Please!! Will Own Snake Soon!!

Just let him watch you handle her for a while, don't force her on him, let him get comfortable and offer him to touch her middle, no where near her head (the scariest part!). I have found when people just touch them they usually say "hey, he's not slimy like I thought!". Then they are more interested and when he is ready offer to let him hold the back end while you hold the business end.

This is what I did for my husband, and when he saw me handling them and touching their heads and chins he realized they had no interest in eating me and asked to hold one. He is still not an enthusiast, but he will hold them if I need to clean a viv or something.

Slow and steady, he will come around, I promise!
