Snake enthusiast
Hello, it was recommended that I visit this site by someone on www.ultimatebettas.com and havn't got around to joining until now. n___n I have one snake, we don't know the sex so we named it Sasha. It's sort of interesting how we found Sasha. I woke up one morning and BAM! Corn snake in my face. My neighbor had found it in her home and my uncle (who I live with) brought it to me, knowing I liked animals. I've always wanted a snake but never got one, my mom/aunt never approved of one. So no snake for me... until now! >:3
It just so happened that we had a 20gal with locking lid and a red bulb light lying around after my sisters turtlre died. (UGH long story, involving a turtle owner who knew nothing of turtles and ended up giving me the turtle when it was sick/ready to fricken die) SO! After some hastey research, we set things up and kept Sasha on paper towels for about a week. Then it turns out that my other neighbor has a lot of reptiles and some leftover reptile things, mostly hides and stuff. So we set up the tank with aspen bedding and now Sasha is happy and healthy. Sasha was veeeery thirsty when we first got her/him and his/her sheds where not very uniform, sort of flakey. But now (and I'm so proud of Sasha) the sheds are in one big piece and Sasha eats thawed out pinkies once weekly. Sasha is very friendly and I handle him/her almost every day. Very friendly. :3 Anyway, here are some recent pictures of Sasha! Would anymore mind telling me what Sashas color pattern is called?
