I am in the process of having to buy a new home for my 2' Ball Python, and am going with a 40 gallon long tank. I currently have my corn snake and my ball python in their own 20 gallon long tank on one stand. I would like to keep this kind of setup with both tanks on one stand. but when I get my new 40 gallon, it will not fit in the 20 Gallon stand. My question is would a 40 gallon tank be too big for a 2' Corn snake? When does the "too big" of an enclosure begin to stress them? I would like to out him in a 40, but don't want to stress him out with all the new room. Any comments and info would be greatly appreciated.
