Hey guys and gals,
New to the site and here for knowledge. I have a baby currently named Norman until it grows a little bit then I will be able to confirm the sex. Eating 2 pinkies every Sunday. Had its first shed last night. Have him in a 10 gal tank right now plan on moving to a bigger size once he does some growing. This is my first snake, and looking to have some more in the future. So yeah! Happy to be here and any advice is greatly appreciated, always learning. :wavey:

Does he have checkers on his belly? He looks like he could be a fire. Very pretty! He appears to be in blue in your last photo.

Nope no checkers, just a white belly. Have had him for about a month now and just starting handling him regularly this past week. He likes to borrow a lot I assume that is just a normal thing for his age?

Yes, that is totally normal behavior. And I'm sure you already know this, but just make sure not to handle him for two days after he eats. If he doesn't have belly checkers, I'd say he's a fire.

What does he borrow? If it is your car, make sure he gets it home before curfew! Just kidding, yes, burrowing is normal especially for babies. Older snakes' weight packs the substrate down so they don't burrow as much.

Welcome, I am the goofy one in the group, but if I don't tease you then you know I don't like you! :bounce: Enjoy it here, it is a great group.
