It appears that it is becoming harder to find moderators for this site....
Would anyone who is interested in becoming a mod apply below and state which section they would like to moderate and why.
 
No, they have to moderate the entire site, not just a little section of it. And there is no quitting in 3 months either, They have to want it for years.
 
You've made it sound official now, by posting that...... I was just looking for five volunteers for further reference....
The section bit was for my entertainment..... LOL
 
What am I missing? Mike, did you buy the site from Rich last night? It seems Rich is pretty pleased with the team he put into place, no?
 
I nominate Roy, Susan, Mike, and Jeff. Any seconds to that motion?

Come on, people. Even when I'm currently upset at one or more of them, I have to admit that they do a fairly good - and goodly fair - job around here AT the moderation job itself. Few others could have kept their personal feelings and moderation responses as separate as these 4 have in the past. Sure, I'm been VERY tweaked by some of the past happenings, but I was never under the illusion that I was the one they had to make happy at all times. The ONLY time I DID get really mad didn't even have to do with moderation - it had to do with what I felt was an unfair use of a moderator's extra abilities....AND NOTHING WAS MODERATED. No changes or deletions in posts. Even that was pretty darn fair of the moderator that made the perceived transgression against me.

Trust me when I say this (and I moderate on one of Rich's other boards), I could name a lot of people that would likely do MUCH worse and very few that I think could do as well. I can't think of anyone that I really think would do better.
 
I'm locking this thread. And the next time I see one like it, unless it's clearly pre-approved by Rich, I'm going to suspend the op for a long time.

Go find a playground in your own neighborhood.

And I won't be discussing this via PM, so spare yourselves the effort.
