New Mom in Colorado

Hi all,
I'm a mom of an almost 5 year old boy and a 7 year old girl and now a 3.5 month old anery male :) About 6 weeks ago my son and I saw a bull snake in our neighborhood--first snake he's seen in the wild. It's been all about snakes ever since! Who knew I would find them as fascinating as he does? A couple of weeks later I brought our little guy home. We had some regurg issues but that all seems to be cleared up now--we mostly followed the Kathy Love protocol and all is well. He just finished digesting his first normal pinkie! (we did just a head two times, then half a pinkie two times, a pinkie with slices cut into it, and two days ago a just a plain pinkie--all F/T).

Is it completely crazy to consider adopting an adult corn? I could have them on opposite schedules in order to be able to hold one every day! LOL I miss my guy during the two days he's digesting!

Welcome! And no you are not Crazy...you're just getting your corn addiction started! Plus adopting is always a good thing.

I went from 1 corn up to 5 corns in less than 3 weeks. Very addicting but of course I had to control myself as I have gotten busy...so now I have 2. They are amazing creatures.

Welcome Msconana! I am just below you in NM! No, you are not crazy. I have not seen so many ppl with any other animal who got so addicted so fast and went from none to one to more than one practically overnight!!!! We adopted Flame, a 2 year old male Creamsicle, for my daughter's 9th birthday (a little early because he was such a good deal on Craigslist for him and his viv and supplies for $100). We got him a month ago. A week ago, I drove an hour from Albq to Santa Fe to adopt an Upper Keys Corn from Craigslist (for him and his viv and supplies for $60!) that I named Ember. We have to stop at 2 due to space issues, but............I had to have one of my own!!!! :D So, welcome, and no it is not crazy, especially if you rescue/adopt one that needs a good home.
