New non corn pickup

MotleyMedusa7

lovin' my sweet corns
We've been wanting a leopard gecko for a while, but we finally found 'the one' at the ETHS expo yesterday-I knew I wanted her the first time I saw her head pattern-it looks like a Superman symbol lol :) & she's so sweet,hasn't tried to jump, hiss or bark yet. she's from Nightglow Reptiles,great geckos that all had good attitudes at good prices :)

here's Sahara(breeder named her) :

Whoa! What a cool head pattern! And that third pic ... it's like she is getting a good scratch or something and she's loving life. Congrats on the pickup!

Yeah- real cool- but can it sell insurance?

Just kidding- awesome! I'm jealous- What else can I say? I also love the name. Kin I come over and babysit? Congrats.

Nice pickup - the Expo had nice variety this year, I thought, and seemed less crowded, which was nice as well. Rainy weather, maybe...

I thought it was a good show too--I was soo tempted by alot of animals,like a leopard ratsnake, a sweet tempered carpet python,etc,but in the end we were being good & picked up a lot of good used cages & stuff from my friend Clint P.(booth in the corner with the slide show on the wall), & this little girl.......of course,Repticon Pasadena is next month,so we'll see if we can fight the addiction next month as well lol

Yeah - might have more trouble then. I'm going to be getting another snake soon, just not sure what yet. I was perusing some lists of available snakes and hit on Irian Jaya carpets, and I'm thinking that might be a really good classroom snake. They don't get toobig (about 5 to 6 feet at the very upper end) and are pretty active and interesting to watch. Only thing I worry about with carpets is the nippiness, which may or may not be an issue depending on what you read...
