Luna loveggod?

My (family) snake is named.
She is called 'Luna'.

Luna had two pinkie mice and is now hiding in her warm cave digesting.
She'll be ready for a 'cuddle' at the weekend.
 
Can you guys/girls please confirm that Luna's temps are ok!?
According to the 'Love's' book I shouldn't worry.
I have heat mat on a thermostat.
It makes for fluctuation of just over 10f. recorded on a min/max thermometer.
(the cool (unheated) area is cooler within the range of 80.6f - 73.4f)
With the high being 87.08 then cools down to 77.72 before turning itself on again.
The book says that this is within the safe/desired range.
I am a little concerned that I have such a fluctuation.
I am now thinking of buying a pulse thermostat as it's only $60.
Is this necessary?

I think that is fine, you are close enough to the recommended temp that everything should be okay.
