Today I visited a friend to photograph her baby burm and her roomate's BP. Got alot of pics...but for some reason, I like this one the best. Maybe it's because it's actually in focus, not to grainy, and not over or under exposed like MOST OF THEM! LOL!!!

While there I mentioned the pound had a burm...and so off we went. They rescued the snake..who was amazingly docile, and other than some stuck shed and nose rub, was really pretty as well.

And I, stupidly, decided to check out a pretty albino cali king they had there...after letting the burm crawl all over me. I washed my hands...but not my shirt, saddly.

Errr...oops! Even so, the snake was beautiful, and really docile till it smelled snake...and has an EXCELLENT feeding response! hahahaha.

I might start volunteering at the shelter here and there too, to help out with their herps when they get them in. They're really not equipped for them, so I'm trying to round up any extra heating equip and stuff I can to donate. See, I'm all motivated now. I can't get any more snakes...but I can help everyone elses! LOL!

Nice Photos!

Our shelter isn't equiped for herps either, when they get one they call the snake lady and she comes and gets them.

Good for you! Any kind of volunteer work is wonderful.. but when you actually KNOW something about what you're doing, and have the potential to significantly improve lives.. it's just great.

Wonderful pictures, by the way. Second one made me laugh.

Aww, Jenn's gettin' all growed up. I remember when you didn't have any snake bites... until you came over here for the first time and the MBK bit you on the shoulder... but that didn't count 'cause it wasn't skin.
Now you have a couple under your belt. :)

And great pics as always :)

I was bit up by a garter snake when I was a kid...and tagged like 8 times by a little leucy yearling I held at the anaheim show last year! Hahahaha! Add in Pickle Bunny...twice...and...hehehehe.

And the MBK totally doesn't count. Maybe it counts for my sweater, but not for meeee!

Isn't that Burm cuuuute?? Sigh...if only I had like...three extra rooms! LOL.
