New Schlegelii

MegF.

That's for sale???
I was at the Columbia show this weekend with some animals to sell and decided I'd replace the eyelash viper that I lost this year. I didn't like the looks of the yellow ones that were there. Button had such beautiful red spots and none of these did, so I went for a pink and green. I haven't named him yet, but here he is. Not a great picture but he's not perching yet so I could only get a shot of his little face.

He is cute! My other one was even cuter. Here he is eating. Good boy to munch down a little pinky:

Fascinating. Meg, I think somewhere someone had a thread,...and this was my choice as a hot if I ever had one.

Will definitely be watching this one. So, do you know what color it will mature to be?

Yeah, I know he's male for sure and he will remain the basic pink and green. The colors will either wash out or become more pronounced as he ages. We'll see which. My other one got more red spots as he got older, but I haven't had this color phase before. He's a busy little guy though...crawling all over the cage right now.
