New tracking db app

I know this is old but I just found it. I wanted to put it on my laptop but it has Windows 7 and won't work :( So I had to put it on my desktop that has XP and it works nicely. Saddly that won't help me when I am on the go and want to check what morphs I have vs what is in front of me for sale. I'd like to avoid purchasing a snake for its genetics only to get home and find out I did not need it. Not that it would be totally bad if its visably a morph but when looking at normals with hets. . . I'd like to have the info on hand. Any plans to update to work on Windows 7?

The program does work on Windows 7, as I've been using it on Windows 7 for quite awhile. I do believe I have found the issue you may be having, though. Looks like somewhere between the Java runtime engine and the SQL db engine there's a problem with a directory path that has a " " (blank space character) in it. The default installation folder is "C:\Program Files\ScerpDB", which does contain a blank space. This shouldn't cause a problem (and doesn't on XP), but from my testing this morning, it does on Windows 7. I tried a few things with my code and nothing seems to help, so it may be a bug beyond my control at this time. What you can try, is re-install, but choose a path that does not contain any blank spaces. If you try this, please let me know if it works. Also, if anyone needs a clearer explanation or help, just let me know.
